While some of the detained individuals may be released for various reasons, most detainees will be transferred to detention centers, fingerprinted, and processed for removal from the United States. Doing so would mean waiving all deportation relief options a person may have.Detainees should request to speak with a judge.If detainees can call a family member, they should make sure their relative knows where they are, their date of birth, and their alien registration number.
