Mr McBroom was born and raised in the small town of Bonham, Texas. He attended the University of North Texas, graduating summa cum laude in December 2000, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. During his time at UNT, Mr McBroom was recognized as an outstanding undergraduate student in his chosen field of study. He earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Tx, graduating cum laude in the Spring of 2005.

Mr McBroom realized his passion for immigration law while a student at SMU. Soon after graduating, he accepted a position as an associate attorney at a large full-service immigration law firm in Dallas, TX, where he eventually became a senior associate. Mr McBroom’s career changed course when he decided to practice real estate law in 2012. But after realizing that immigration law was his true calling, Mr McBroom returned to practicing immigration law exclusively, when he accepted his current position as an attorney at the Dallas Office of the Law Offices of Manuel Solís. He focuses on family-based immigration and removal defense.

In his spare time, Mr McBroom enjoys spending time outdoors and spending time with his niece and nephew.
