Jasmin Townsend is an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Manuel Solis. She was born and raised in Council Bluffs, IA. She attended College of Saint Mary in Omaha, NE where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in an ABA Accredited Legal Studies Program in 2017. She attended The University of Kansas School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2020.
Jasmin’s passion for immigration law began when she worked as a legal intern in Omaha, Nebraska during her college years. She gained significant insight and experience with immigration law through her earlier roles as a file clerk, legal assistant, and law clerk. Since 2016, Jasmin has developed and refined her advocacy skills by remaining dedicated to navigating the complexities and changes of the United States immigration system. In September of 2022, Jasmin moved to Houston, Texas and became a part of the Law office of Manuel Solis. She works in the Deport Department and represents non-detained and detained clients before the EOIR, and the Board of Immigration Appeals in Virginia.
Jasmin enjoys traveling in her free time and taking on dare devil activities when she travels, such as sky diving, parasailing, and bungee jumping. Jasmin comes from a small city, however a big family. She deeply values her familial relationships, which is why she grew to be passionate about immigration law and the importance of fighting to keep families together and safe in the United States.
