In response to the Executive Order on Restoring Faith in Our Legal Immigration Systems and Strengthening Integration and Inclusion Efforts for New Americans (EO14012) promoted by President Joe Biden, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office, has lead a new Naturalization Working Group that includes:
U.S. Department of Homeland Security; U.S. Department of Agriculture; U.S. Department of Defense; U.S. Department of Education; U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; U.S. Department of Justice; U.S. Department of Labor; U.S. Department of State; U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; and U.S. Social Security Administration. "Throughout our history, the United States has welcomed immigrants from all over the world who have helped shape and define our country. Granting citizenship to eligible lawful permanent residents is vital to our nation’s security, economic prosperity, and a future built on the principles of the U.S. Constitution" were the words pronounced by President Joe Biden in this new executive order, that is part of a national strategy to promote the naturalization and citizenship of immigrants, and that can be consulted in the official USCIS website.
Since the first day of the current Biden-Harris administration, the USCIS has received instructions on developing strategies to empower immigrants to promote their naturalization, which provides hope to those seeking the American dream.
